Previous | Home | NextThe old Wrangelska Paletset faces westward toward the water. It was the home to the royal family during the period 1697-1754. The palace has experienced devastating fires, but has been rebuilt each time (1693, 1802). The right tower (south) was part of the defense fortifications of Gustav Vasa (Gustav I 1496-1560).
